The Scout Holiday Homes Trust is a registered charity, founded in 1969 by former Scouts, in order to provide suitable self-catering holiday Accommodation for families with special needs - irrespective ofany Scouting connections.

The Picture above is of the local holiday home at Skipsea which is looked after by Derick Wilson a member of the West Hull Scout Fellowship. Derick is looking for people on a Saturday afternoon in the summer to help clean the caravan. At present he has no volunteers and is having to pay for cleaners.
